Nigerian International, Victor Osimhen have finally secure his dream move to Napoli where he will be playing under the guidance of AC Millan legend, Gattuso.
Victor Osimhen who is reported to have join the Serie A side on a big money deal
worth €50 million (£45m/$59m) from French side Lille have now been rumoured
to be the most expensive Africa signing in history.
According to a new report from L’Equipe, Napoli fetched out a staggering $96m to
secure the service of Osimhen, a fee that surpass the $94m Arsenal used in securing
the service of Nicolas Pepe from Lille.
Osimhen who had been linked with several top European clubs following his
impressive goal scoring season, including Arsenal and Liverpool will be eager to
prove a point with his price tag always going to be in the spotlight.
The 10-cap Nigerian international has scored four goals for Super Eagles.
He first moved to Europe in 2017 with Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga,
before moving to Charleroi in Belgium, initially on loan and then in a permanent transfer.
Victor Osimhen scored 18 goals in 38 appearances for the Ligue 1 side in the 2019-20 season.
