Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Joe Mettle, has confessed that, life for him at a point became extremely difficult that he had to steal groundnut paste to add it to his gariin order not to sleep hungry.

One of Ghana’s finest Gospel Musicians as at now – Joe Mettle – in an interview with the media whiles talking about his life made this confession, in regards to the difficulties he has had in life.

Born Joseph Oscar Mettle, stage name “Joe Mettle” added that, no ordinary human being can ever claim credit for the man he has become today.

“No man can claim credit for who I am today. It was God who changed my story.”

According to him, he dropped out of high school a couple of times because of how rough life was.

“It took the power of God to get me to complete university education even without a formal secondary school education.”He added.

The now successful artiste also revealed that, at a point in his life, he had to sell Waakye and support his mother in order to make ends meet.

Joe Mettle is a Ghanaian Gospel Artiste and songwriter. He is the first ever Gospel Artiste to have won Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
